We are a community of educated Oromos living in the United States, with roots tracing back to the Gujii land of the Oromia region of Ethiopia. Our mission at Kontoma Darimu Association is to promote unity, provide assistance to those in need, facilitate and celebrate achievements, all while fostering a sense of unity among Darimu supporting one another wherever every member raises belonging.

We envision a future where Kontoma Darimu Association plays a pivotal role in the social, cultural and recommended tranquility and harmony of its members.
Furthermore, by advancing social harmony, upholding the Gadaa system's principles, and working collaboratively we strive to make a meaningful contribution to the greater sense of kinship and volunteering.
